  • Brynne’s career has been driven by a passion for empowerment through holistic education. As a professor, Brynne teaches online courses and develops innovative curriculum. She has also worked as a counselor in multiple settings, including school-based and nonprofit organizations. Her areas of expertise and research interests include: emerging adulthood, adolescent mental health, socio-emotional well-being in college, posttraumatic growth, identity development, and college success.

  • Alyssa is a fully licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois and Missouri with a passion for education, training, advocacy, and trauma-informed clinical practice. She has experience in rural community mental health, university counseling centers, and private practice settings. She is skilled in crisis intervention, mental health counseling, supervision, consultation, professional development, policy writing, and serving on multidisciplinary teams. She is devoted to improving access to quality mental health care and support, increasing understanding and awareness of neurodiversity, and creating trauma-informed environments to support the individual as a whole.
